We have a number of pumps available which have been restored or rebuilt. Some are currently available and ready to go to work for you - please refer to our gallery for more detail.

PUMP 1 - This Forrers 6" x 10" piston pump is as large as it sounds - it exceeds one tonne in weight and 2 m in length!! Everything about this pump is big - it will pump up to 5700 gallons per hour through its 4" inlets and outlets - the makeover and refit is all but finished!! This unit is now complete - six C-section belts are on hand and ready to be fitted to ensure everything is ready to go - securely mounted on a substantial steel frame.
Continued from above - Forrers 6" x 10" - it may have looked like an ugly duckling when we picked it up, but yes, its transformation is well underway. Already it looks very different - see above for more recent photos!
Forrers 5" x 8" - how's this for class - it was the largest pump we'd had - up to 3600 gallons per hour!! We now have the 6" x 10" as per the previous listing! This fully reconditioned 5" x 8" is big in terms of all the numbers - size, weight and capacity!!! Unfortunately, this unit is no longer available - but we'd love another if you could help us out!!
HELP PLEASE - We are experiencing unprecedented demand for pumps of all brands and sizes, but particularly 2.5" x 3" pumps - should you have one or know of any others, we would appreciate any leads you may be able to provide - thank you!!

PUMP A1 - Any number of years ago, someone out there purchased what they thought was the very last of the new Australian-made Ajax 6" x 6" pumps from Bell Pumps. Well, guess what ... though it may disappoint that person, you can now become excited because there really is another "last" "new" pump now available ... and the opportunity for you to have it won't last long - it was part of the Ajax remnant stock which we recently acquired.
PUMP 2 - Are you in a hilly area and have difficulty in getting water as high as you need - then this is the pump for you - a Southern Cross 2.5" x 5" HIGH-HEAD pump in amazing condition! Some consider these to have been the best of the Southern Cross range!
As stated on our Ajax & Yandina Parts & Info page, we consider ourselves fortunate for having had the opportunity to acquire the remaining stock from the Estate of the Late Rob McPhail. Rob had built a very respected reputation for himself and his pump servicing and distribution business. Prior to his passing, Rob had restored a number of pumps and had many others waiting in the wings. The pumps prefaced with "Y" on this page have been sourced from Rob McPhail. These pumps are currently in storage sheds, so appropriate photos are not available for all of them, but those listed here are ready to work unless noted otherwise. The listing for these pumps is not yet complete so if you can't see what you are looking for, please ring!
Photo not yet available UNIT 1 - Photos coming soon - a well-put-together unit consisting of a Forrers 4" x 5" pump and Lister 6 hp diesel engine mounted on a heavy-duty frame. The engine and the pump are in excellent working condition ... and to protect this all from the weather, a made-to-order cover of steel and corrugated iron "shed" slides over the entire unit - the ideal package for someone who just needs to put it near water, connect it and start it up!!
Photo not yet available PUMP Y1 - A Southern Cross 2.5" x 3" pump - Serial Number 58299 - currently in workshop, but will be available within a few weeks!
Photo not yet available PUMP Y2 - Forrers 2.5" x 3" pump - also currently in workshop, and will also be available within a few weeks!
PUMP Y3 - Forrers 4" x 5" pump - ready to go, but will be given a fresh coat of paint and tidied up in general before delivery
PUMP Y6 - Southern Cross 2.5" x 5" pump - this pump has been restored and is in excellent condition - if it is what you are looking for, let us know and we'll can get it to you!
Photo not yet available PUMP Y7 - Ajax 3" x 4" - not yet ready to go, but could be fast-tracked if you needed it to be!

PUMP Y8 - but what is it?? This masterpiece is German engineering at its very best - does it look heavy - yes, but that still belies its actual weight - take a look at the double, helical gears and pinions - all first class!! Where is the wet end - that is a work-in-progress - click the photo link for more info!
SOLD - PUMP 3 - Another 2.5" x 3", but this time a well-respected Forrers. This pump is in great condition - check out the bull gear photo - whenever the bull gear looks like this, you know the rest of the pump is in geat condition!
PUMP 4 - Another completed Forrers 5" x 5" pump - in great order and now ready for work if you needed it tomorrow!!
PUMP 5 - Now finished for you - and another Forrers, but this time it is a 4" x 6" pump - it has now been fully reconditioned for you!
SOLD - PUMP 6 - A fairly rare find - a Southern Cross 5" x 5" high-head pump fantastic condition. We don't always have a high-header available, but this one makes two for the moment - and this is the larger capacity of the two! The high-head pumps exceed the head restrictions of standard pumps and really come into their own in hilly conditions.
PUMP 7 - Another Forrers - a 3" x 4" mid-sized pump that is ready to go now that it has had a visit to the workshop.
SOLD - PUMP 8 - DGM 2.5" x 3" - another of the very popular mid-sized pumps which don't tend to stay around for very long - this one is ready to go!
PUMP 9  - A Forrers 3" x 4" which has been completely checked out and ready for immediate delivery to get your water where you want it!
