Forrers 5" x 8" - how's this for class - it was the largest pump we'd had - up to 3600 gallons per hour!! We now have the 6" x 10" as per the previous listing! |SOLD - PUMP A1 - Any number of years ago, someone out there purchased what they thought was the very last of the new Australian-made Ajax 6" x 6" pumps from Bell Pumps. Well, guess what ... though it may disappoint that person, you can now become excited because there really is another "last" "new" pump now available ... and the opportunity for you to have it won't last long.|
|UNRESTORED PUMP A - This is an opportunity for the real enthusiasts! It wouldn't be unique, but there would be very few similar! An 8" x 8" Forrers masterpiece! And it is your choice which side of the pump you mount the cylinders!|
|UNRESTORED PUMP B - Another rarity to suit the most fastidious restorer - a Forrers 5" x 6" - so why is it so rare - look closely at the number of pushrods - and it has the same number of bull gears and pistons - TWO of each!!!|
|Photo not yet available||UNIT 1 - Photos coming soon - a well-put-together unit consisting of a Forrers 4" x 5" pump and Lister 6 hp diesel engine mounted on a heavy-duty frame. The engine and the pump are in excellent working condition ... and to protect this all from the weather, a made-to-order cover of steel and corrugated iron "shed" slides over the entire unit - the ideal package for someone who just needs to put it near water, connect it and start it up!!|
|UNIT 2 - The photos don't do this unit the justice it warrants - what a match up! A Forrers 5" x 5" coupled to a 6 hp Lister. Just waiting to be restored and taken on the show circuit - would definitely win "Best of Breed"!!|
As stated on our Ajax & Yandina Parts & Info page, we consider ourselves fortunate for having had the opportunity to acquire the remaining stock from the Estate of the Late Rob McPhail. Rob had built a very respected reputation for himself and his pump servicing and distribution business. Prior to his passing, Rob had restored a number of pumps and had many others waiting in the wings. The pumps prefaced with "Y" on this page have been sourced from Rob McPhail. These pumps have now been relocated to our warehouse, but not all photos are yet available for them. Those listed here are ready to work unless noted otherwise. The listing for these pumps is not yet complete so if you can't see what you are looking for, please ring!
